His piano method builds a strong foundation in music theory and piano technique, so that the focus can then be turned to artistry and performance. As a voice coach David’s main goals are to help every student understand their vocal anatomy, resonance, vowel shape, clear pronunciation, and song interpretation. He specializes in jazz, pop, rock, and musical theatre style singing. His students have gone on to major in musical theatre and music, performing in college theatrical productions, Music Circus Sacramento, Sacramento Theatre Company MainStage shows, and National Tours.
